Taiko Drummer

Born in Aichi Prefecture, he started taiko drumming at 9 and studied under Yukio Umemura. He performed with the group “REN” until 2017 and led “Super Taiko Junior” internationally. In 2015, he debuted with “ZI-PANG” at major Japanese festivals. Now a solo artist, he collaborates with various musicians and leads a band blending traditional Japanese instruments. He has won multiple competitions and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2019. He is also a support artist for ALESIS.
